Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET + DevOps Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a .NET + DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our software applications while ensuring smooth and efficient DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in .NET development and a passion for automating and optimizing deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements, design specifications, and user stories.
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, utilizing best practices and coding standards.
- Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Work closely with IT operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of deployed applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and system health, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Automate and manage infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Implement and manage cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .NET development and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical support to development teams and assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to DevOps practices and deployments.
- Assist in mentoring and coaching junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in .NET development and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in .NET framework and related technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, etc.).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (MSBuild, Maven, Gradle), and release management.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in .NET development or DevOps practices are advantageous.
